Blazing Sky Bodywork provides Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Oncology Massage and Therapeutic Massage, (swedish and neuromuscular techniques) which are used alone or combined based on clients needs. MLD is a type of gentle massage of skin only, this is done to encourage natural drainage of the lymph tissue. In addition to Lymphedema and post mastectomy, MLD is beneficial for chronic diseases like arthritis, sinusitus, migraines, autoimmune diseases like MS and Fibromyalgia, it great for skin disorders like acne and rosacea, pain, sprains, bruising, and stress management, swelling and bruising which makes it wonderful to have pre and post surgery. Oncology Massage curbs anxiety, dulls pain, helps nausea become more manageable and provides a safe space for healing. Ocology Massage and MLD are also amazing for pure relaxation as well.
