Therapeutic massage is the primary focus of Denton Bodywork. The main goal is addressing your specific muscular problems and treating or relieving ailments such as neck/shoulder/upper back pain, headaches, low back pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, etc. That being said, the value of a good old-fashioned Swedish massage cannot be overlooked. If stress relief is your goal, i’ve got your back! Your preferences will always be the guideline for your massage, and your feedback is encouraged in order to ensure your needs are met. I offer prenatal massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, swedish massage and the delightful Aloha massage, which begins with an organic coconut oil scalp masssage & hair treatment. Please note: Draping is always required for both men and women at Denton Bodywork. If you are warm-natured we can forgo a blanket and/or turn on a fan, but a sheet will always be utilized.
The first experience you have upon entering my space is your visual, calming, relaxing and automaticly sets one at peace. Its like entering your home, where all our stories begin, our intake time. We start with a warm foot soak allowing time to discuss current physical issues, decompressing from the days events, in addition to calming the mind. We then move into the treatment room for a Intuitive Massage, which includes multiple modalities. What your body asks for I do my best to provide. I also incorporate high quality products and essential oils at no additional cost. After your treatment I offer a rest time of 15-20 minutes on the table followed by a healthy snack, water and any questions we might have missed.
