Dr. Sato is considered “OUT-OF-NETWORK” with all dental insurance plans. This means that you must have a PPO plan so that you are allowed to see an out-of-network provider of your choice. It is your responsibility to contact your dental plan to determine if you can see the Dentist of your choice, or if you must see an “IN-NETWORK” Dentist, these plans are often called: HMO, DMO, or EMO, and they mean that you are assigned to a dentist and cannot use the insurance with Dr. Sato. Delta Dental PPO plans: Delta Dental has their own fee schedule, you will need to pay the office fees at the time of your visit, we will send the claims to delta, but Delta Dental will send all payments to the insurance subscriber. Our office is happy to assist our patients with the filing of their dental insurance, however: We ask that you: Read your policy carefully to be sure that you are fully aware of any limitations of the benefits provided. Any procedures that are not covered by your dental plan are your full responsibility. It is important to remember that your insurance policy is an agreement between you and your insurance carrier. Since we have no say in the selection of your insurance company, we ask that you look upon your insurance company realistically as a device that reimburses you for dental expenses. It is our goal to help you obtain the insurance coverage to which you are entitled under your policy, while providing you with the highest quality dental services.
