Erich W. Herber, D.D.S. is a Temecula dentist whose practice centers on TMJ disorders. For over 30 years he has treated jaw pain, clicking and locking, chronic headaches, ear pain, and facial pain without surgery or medication, using custom oral appliance therapy and bite correction. Because this is a single-chair practice, Dr. Herber performs both the evaluation and the treatment himself, so the person who diagnoses your jaw is the person who treats it. He also treats TMJ-related sleep problems such as grinding and morning jaw pain, along with craniofacial pain that is often misdiagnosed as migraine, sinus trouble, or an ear infection. New patients start with a personalized TMJ evaluation that includes a full jaw and bite exam and a clear explanation of what is causing the pain.
