Our office, as well as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, recommends establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. For infants and very young children the first dental visit will usually consist of an examination by Dr. Eaton and a discussion of your child's dental development, cavity risk, and oral hygiene. Around the age of three, depending on your child's needs and temperament, we will usually introduce a professional dental polishing, fluoride treatment, and dental x-rays in addition to Dr. Eaton's examination. We invite you to stay with your child during the first visit, as we'll have so many things to discuss and learn. You are welcome to accompany your child at all times during any visit with us.
