Pediatric dentists are the pediatricians of dentistry. We are specially trained for the unique dental health needs of children. Beyond the dental degree, our professional education includes completing a two-year hospital residency program at a children's hospital where advanced training, including child psychology, pediatric sedation, oral-facial trauma management, growth and development, and working with the mentally and physically handicapped, is obtained. We are also qualified to provide dental treatment in the operating room.
