Dr. Harrison W. Lin is a board-certified UCI Health otolaryngologist who specializes in hearing disorders and skull base surgery. His clinical interests include hearing and balance problems, chronic ear infections, skull base tumors such as acoustic neuromas and meningiomas, facial paralysis, and devices that help people cope with hearing loss. Lin earned his medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. He completed a residency in otolaryngology at Harvard Medical School in Boston followed by a fellowship in neurotology and skull base surgery at the UC San Diego School of Medicine. A principal investigator at the UC Irvine Center for Hearing Research, Lin is working to advance hearing and balance research. His goal is to extend and translate his basic science work into clinical trials that can help UCI Health patients who have auditory and vestibular problems. Lin, who also speaks Mandarin.
Dr. Sepehr Oliaei is a board-certified UCI Health otolaryngologist who specializes in the comprehensive management of ear, nose and throat disorders and surgical care of salivary gland and thyroid disease. A leader in the management of neoplastic and obstructive salivary gland disorders, he offers minimally invasive sialendoscopy techniques for obstructive parotid and submandibular gland disorders in addition to minimally invasive resection techniques for low grade salivary gland tumors. Oliaei earned his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La., followed by residency training in otolaryngology at UCI Medical Center in Orange, Calif. His research interests include clinical outcome studies in parotid and submandibular sialendoscopy, as well as optimization of patient outcomes and resource utilization via enhancing the interface between subspecialty medical care and urgent/emergency care. Oliaei, who also speaks Farsi.

Dr. Naveen Bhandarkar is a board-certified UCI Health otolaryngologist who specializes in treating conditions affecting the nose, the paranasal sinuses (areas surrounding the nasal cavity) and the skull base (the interface between the sinuses and the brain).He has extensive experience in complex and revision endoscopic sinus surgery, treating the most difficult and challenging cases of chronic sinusitis, polyps and sinus tumors. He has performed more than 2,500 procedures to date using the most advanced technologies available.After earning a medical degree at Ohio State Universitys College of Medicine in Columbus, he completed residency in OtolaryngologyHead and Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, followed by a fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.His clinical interests include chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, nasal and sinus tumors, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, sinus steroid eluting implants, balloon sinuplasty, revision sinus surgery, image-guided sinus surgery and minimally invasive skull base surgery. He is active in research involving clinical trials and outcomes of sinus surgery and is also a regular reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals.
