While our practice performs many common procedures such as tonsillectomy and ear tube placement, we also offer cutting-edge, minimally-invasive techniques to diagnose and treat sinus disease, snoring/obstructive sleep apnea, allergies, hearing loss, voice disorders, & tumors of the head and neck. CCENT provides comprehensive allergy testing, allergy shots & sublingual allergy drops, as well as Hearing Aid evaluation, dispensing, and troubleshooting. All aspects of facial plastic surgery are offered including rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, Mohs surgery reconstruction, facial fillers, & the latest in laser skin resurfacing. Many of these, such as sinus & cosmetic procedures, can be performed conveniently & comfortably in our offices, avoiding the hospital and general anesthesia. Benjamin Cable, MD - ENT & Allergy Centers of Texas

We are the the only full spectrum ENT program in Southwest Virginia, with expert surgeons available in all aspects of ENT care, including general ENT and sub-specialty trained surgeons in head and neck cancer, reconstructive surgery, pediatrics, and ear surgery. We are working to grow and serve our community in Roanoke, the New River Valley and at our West lake/Rocky Mount locations. Dr. Cable currently serves as Chief of Otolaryngology at Carilion Clinic and as a professor of surgery at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Over the last decade, he has served as an invited speaker or surgical instructor across the United States and in eight additional countries around the globe. He has more than 17 years of experience teaching ENT surgical residents. Dr. Cable recently completed 25 years of military service. During this time, he was chosen as the consultant to the surgeon general for otolaryngology and had the opportunity to serve in Afghanistan as the Chief of Clinical Operations within the NATO International Joint Command. Dr. Cable has completed sub-specialty fellowship training in pediatric ENT surgery but still enjoys the privilege of seeing patients of all ages. Along with his team of talented care providers, he is committed to providing excellence in care for all patients in our community and across the region.
