General surgery in Waco, TX

Dr. Richard Helmer, a native Texan, attended Baylor University and later UTMB for Medical School. He completed General Surgery at Texas Tech Health Science Center followed by Thoracic Surgery Residency at UTSW in Dallas. He has been practicing in Waco since 2008.

Dr. Young was born and raised in Waco, Texas and returned in 1996 after a Cardiothoracic/Vascular residency. He and his wife and three children enjoy spending time on the lake and family trips. He has been involved with a clinical practice of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery in Waco since 1996.
