Robert Cavagnol, MD, MHA, FACS serves as St. Luke's executive medical director. His medical practice is currently focused on acute care surgery, and performs a breadth of surgical procedures including advanced laparoscopy, hernia repair, gallbladder removal, appendectomy, colon removal, and other urgent operations. Dr. Cavagnol is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has served as the president of the Southwest Missouri Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. Prior to relocating to Boise, Dr. Cavagnol served for 12 years as a general surgeon in Springfield, Missouri and earned the Young Physician of the Year award with Mercy Health System.
Justin Woodlief, MD focuses on preventive care, as well as diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of acute and chronic illnesses. Dr. Woodlief received his bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Northern Iowa, and has experience as a medical illustrator, with publications in medical journals and textbooks.
