Call 1-888-724-7240 (or 988) for immediate help from professional counselors, available in over 200 languages. Services include crisis intervention, alcoholism and drug abuse intervention, counseling, suicide prevention services, referrals, and support for those struggling or worried about others.
Specialty Psychology Psychologists are doctors trained in talk and behavioral therapy. Psychologists may focus on emotional, behavioral or organizational issues such as anxiety, depression and other disorders. Most do not prescribe medicine. Many psychologists focus on research while others see patients.
San Diego Family Care operates eight (8) health centers in San Diego County. This includes 4 sites in Linda Vista, the Mid-City Community Clinic (Adults) and the Mid-City Community Clinic (Pediatrics), as well as two (2) school based health center.
