Founded in 1967, Valeo Behavioral Health Care provides comprehensive mental health and substance abuse services for adults. It is licensed by the state of Kansas and is nationally approved by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Its services include social detoxification, intermediate and intensive outpatient treatment, continuing care, relapse prevention, adult psychotherapy and medical services. The organization also offers case management and supported employment services. Additionally, it provides reintegration and transitional housing. Located in Topeka, Kan., Valeo Behavioral Health Care operates an intensive residential program for individuals with persistent mental illness. Its program offers opportunities for continued growth, learning, skill building and recovery in a family atmosphere.
