Dr. David J. Wright is a fellowship-trained UCI Health orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand surgery. His clinical interests include hand surgery, microsurgery and orthopedic surgery. He earned his medical degree from the UCI School of Medicine in Irvine, Calif. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery from the UCI School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at Washington University in St. Louis. Wright, who also speaks Spanish.

Dr. Ryan M. DiGiovanni is a fellowship-trained UCI Health orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee arthroplasty. His clinical interests include the management and surgical treatment of knee and hip arthritis, including primary and revision arthroplasty procedures.DiGiovanni earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson, where he also completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery. Next, he completed a fellowship in joint replacement at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. His research interests include the clinical outcomes of hip and knee arthroplasty, particularly the use of robot- and computer-assisted technologies and alignment in total knee arthroplasty. He has published and presented numerous peer-reviewed papers at national conferences.

Dr. Ranjan Gupta is a board-certified UCI Health orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand surgery, including microsurgery, and nerve injuries.Gupta earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y., followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery and a National Institutes of Health post-doctoral research fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He received fellowship training in hand surgery and microsurgery at UCLA School of Medicine, followed by a the University of California, Los Angeles, followed by a hand surgery/trauma/shoulder fellowship at the University of Berne in Switzerland.His clinical studies seek to improve treatment of distal radius fractures and distal radioulnar joint instability. He also is investigating altered kinematics after shoulder arthoplasty at the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System.Gupta is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Orthopaedic Research Society, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Society for Neuroscience and Orthopaedics Overseas.
