Dr. Mihir J. Desai is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery. He treats conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity, including fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, arthritis, complex trauma, and peripheral nerve conditions. Dr. Desai completed his orthopedic surgery training at Emory University and a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Duke University. Before joining Elite Sports Medicine + Orthopedics, he served as Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for 11 years.
