Dr. Kiesau acquired specialized skills in total ankle replacement and many other foot and ankle treatments during his fellowship training at Duke University. He has a special interest in treating ankle arthritis, bunions, hammertoes, flatfoot, high arches, tendon and ligament ruptures, recurrent sprains, and many other sports and lifestyle injuries. Dr. Kiesau performs a high volume of the Lapiplasty 3D bunion surgery with immediate postoperative weight bearing. He also specializes in the treatment of foot and ankle trauma and fractures, as well as general orthopedic fractures.
