Penda Senior Home Care is a licensed, non-medical home care agency in Chula Vista, owned and run by a registered nurse. Our caregivers help older adults stay safely in their own homes: bathing and dressing, meals, housekeeping, rides to appointments, companionship, dementia and Alzheimer's care, Parkinson's care, respite for family caregivers, help after a hospital stay, and 24-hour or live-in care. Every caregiver is an employee of the agency, registered with California's Home Care Aide Registry and background-checked. Our caregivers speak English, Spanish, Tagalog and Swahili. We serve Chula Vista, Otay Ranch, Eastlake, Bonita, downtown San Diego, La Jolla, Carmel Valley, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Carlsbad and Poway. Rates run from $40 to $48 an hour, with a four-hour minimum visit. The in-home consultation is free, and care can usually start the same day.
