Montgomery Hospice located in Rockville, Md., has been proving home health care services since 1981 for the multicultural residents of the community who are facing serious illness and loss. It is a nonprofit, licensed and independent provider of hospice care. The center provides palliative care and compassionate support during serious illness. It delivers personal care to more than 900 patients every year. The personal care services are offered in various locations that include private residences, assisted living facilities and nursing homes. The center also operates the Casey House, another care center founded in 1999 and a gift from the Eugene B. Casey Foundation. Casey House offers a variety of levels of care to meet the patients' particular needs, including acute, respite and residential care services. Montgomery Hospice offers all its services through a team of staff that include nurses, physicians, pastoral care and bereavement counselors, nutritionists, and speech and physical therapists.
