Its more than 20,000-square-foot facility includes 40-plus-bed treatment, general purpose, resuscitation, minor care treatment and gynecology rooms. The George L. Shields Emergency Department also has a full-service laboratory, a respiratory therapy department, medical imaging services, CT scan, ultrasound and general radiography.
