After attending Stockton State College in New Jersey for his Bachelor of Arts and Harvard University for his science concentration, Dr. Hernandez went on to earn his medical degree from Rutgers' Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He then completed his residency in family medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. This certification identifies our nurses as experts in the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, the impact of chronic health conditions on wound healing, wound management, and prevention strategies.Youll also have access to other specialists you may need, such as vascular surgeons, physical therapists, footwear experts (pedorthotists) and others who can aid the wound healing process.We offer both inpatient and outpatient wound and ostomy care services at this location and at Wound Healing CenterMuhlenberg, which is home to two state-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers.
