At Bearly Spiritual Direction, I walk with those who are ready to tell the truth about their lives, no matter how messy, complex, or sacred the story may be. I'm not here to give you prepackaged answers or feel-good clichés. I'm here to hold space for the real stuff: heartbreak, doubt, childhood wounds, deconstruction, faith rediscovered, and everything in between. What sets me apart is my lived experience. I’m a father, a survivor of trauma, a former pastor, and someone who’s walked through divorce, shame, and grief and come out with more compassion, not less. I integrate contemplative practices, trauma-informed care, deep listening, and theology that doesn't flinch. I’ve studied with the best, suffered with the worst, and through it all, I’ve learned how to hear God in the silence, the wilderness, and even in the ache. People come to me when the masks fall off, when church isn’t enough, and when they’re desperate to know they’re not alone. I offer real conversation, rooted presence, and direction that honors your story and God’s presence in it. If you're longing for transformation, not performance, if you’re craving peace, wholeness, and clarity, I’d be honored to walk with you. This isn’t therapy. It’s not coaching. It’s spiritual direction. And I’m truly good at it because I’ve lived every word.
Sound Healing is an immersive session using crystal and tibetan bowls, tuning forks, chimes, drums and gong. It is designed to open your chakras and release all negative energy that may have taken harbor in your body. We work together to rejuvenate your mind, body & soul through sound. Also can incorporate astrology and personal goals through planning, meditation and other resources.
I specialize in working with first responders, military, their families, and athletes; Brainspotting, PTSD, DBT, anxiety. I use Brainspotting and DBT to help with anxiety, depression, and PTSD—because no, you don’t *just need to tough it out.* And while I take your healing seriously, I’m not the “sit in silence and nod” type of therapist. Expect real talk, the occasional well-placed F-bomb, and maybe even a joke or two about how weird the brain is. Mental health is hard enough. Therapy shouldn’t feel like one more thing to survive.
