Sentara Leigh Comprehensive Breast Center is among an elite group designated as an American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. After rigorous evaluation of staff, equipment, physician credentials, technique and image quality, the centers are now fully accredited in the three major areas of breast imaging and cancer detection, mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy and ultrasound-guided biopsy. The W. Stanley Jennings Outpatient Center is a two-story, 38,000 square foot building located to the north of the main hospital. The site is heavily landscaped, and a healing garden with a koi pond and fountain are designed to allow patients and visitors a calming and relaxing atmosphere in the midst of a nervous and stressful time.

The Diagnostic & Breast Center of Chesapeake, part of the Jennings Outpatient Center, provides patients with an easily accessible option for 3D Mammography and numerous other imaging and laboratory services.
