One Family Birth Center provides the space for Licensed Midwives and Advanced Nurse Practitioners, that meet the state of Alaska qualifications to become clinical staff members to safely and comfortably practice within the documented scope of practice. The service One Family provides is as a birth and family centered community space, a birthing facility, clinic setting and a referral source to match our clients with a midwife. One Family is not owned by an individual provider and is a community labor of love. One Family has a unique variety of retail items geared toward expectant mothers and newborns. The phone is staffed 24-7 and is always available to be opened by appointment.
