San Diego Community Birth Center is the only Black-owned birthing center in San Diego county. We strive to provide inclusive, informative, safe care to the people who need it most. You don't need a baby to have a midwife! In addition to providing holistic prenatal, birth, and postpartum care, we also provide well-person reproductive care.
My doula practice is a modern approach to maternal caregiving. Mother focused support that weaves in holistic meal preparation, bodywork, belly binding and doula support. My practice is focused on an organic healing approach to supporting individuals on their parenthood journey through educating, empowering and healing. My holistic approach to motherhood makes my practice grounding, strengthening and a source of confidence. I support families with post birth recovery methods such as healing remedies like herbal sitz baths and belly binding. I create recipes, weekly meal planners and cook nourishing postpartum foods in family's homes. I support a momma's need to cocoon and create a resting space by doing light laundry, dishes and bedroom refreshes daily.
