Wildflower Maternity offers full scope midwifery care for anyone with a uterus in northern California. Though we are based out of Redding, California, we can travel to you. We offer well-woman care and pap smears, prenatal/postpartum care for homebirth, Birth Center, and hospital deliveries. In each visit, we offer prenatal education, one-on-one connection with your care provider, resource management, and pregnancy symptom management. Ask all of your questions- you get a full hour at each visit. We specialize in alternative medicine, including homeopathic’s and herbology. Wildflower is a holistic practice that will almost always recommend an alternative modality before medication. We are contracted with, and connected to many other providers and specialists in the local area, increasing access to treatments and success with vaginal deliveries and long-term breastfeeding. Trained and experienced in typical postpartum healing, and perinatal mood disorders, Cristine brings her hands and heart to your home to provide education and encouragement as you navigate into parenthood. Beginning prenatally, we create a postpartum plan to ensure you are prepared and educated about the changes that are to come. After baby's arrival, Cristine comes to ensure you have space for self-care, education, and a gentle and non-judgmental ear to help you process your feelings from birth and as a new parent.
