‘Āina Hānau
'Āina Hānau (Eye-Na, Hah-Now) means 'birthplace' and comes from two Hawaiian words: Land and Birth. As your doula, I am here to hold your sacred 'āina hānau and guide you into having the best possible birth and postpartum experience for YOU.

I am a certified birth doula, which means I am trained to support women emotionally, informationally and physically during pregnancy and birth. I am also a formally trained childbirth educator, postpartum doula and breastfeeding counselor. I love providing support across the spectrum. Starting prenatally and supporting women through postpartum is my favorite way to support growing families.

The Braving Doula Collective is a group of four doulas: two full time birth doulas, one full time postpartum doula, and one doula who floats around and does lots of other magic depending on our clients' needs. All of us in BDC identify on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, and we love supporting all families! Each member of the BDC brings their own specialized set of skills to the table. By combining our expertise, you get access to a huge range of services right under one roof.
