Bold Birth and Baby Doula Services

Congratulations parents! The journey to your child's birth is one that you will never forget. The support of another woman during birth is an ancient tradition, it's importance often forgotten with the emergence of technology. Present day doula's however, are trained in the delicate balance between the technology of today and the secrets of our wise woman ancestors. Every woman deserves this support and to have access to the tools that will make birth a more positive experience. Hiring a doula results in shorter labors with fewer complications. Families tend to have shorter hospital stays, less complications, and breastfeed more easily. A doula can support the whole family and is beneficial for any kind of birth plan from cesarean to home birth. There is a wide range of birth services in the Longmont and Boulder area; it's so important to find the right person for you. Call or email for a face to face interview to discuss your birth preferences.

I provide my patients with the best possible care in women's health.

As a nonprofit, Banner Health exists to provide health care services to the communities we serve, rather than generate profits. That means that every dollar we earn is reinvested into: New hospital beds, new or expanding patient care services, new physician services, new technologies, maintaining existing equipment and facilities, and aying employees salaries. Banner also provides more than $153 million in charity care through our Financial Assistance Program. In addition, we subsidize the medical education costs for hundreds of medical residents (physicians in training), the majority of whom will stay in Arizona and Colorado, where they trained.Additionally, Banner provides important, free services like the Banner Poison and Drug Information Center Hotline, health information provided by registered nurses through our Banner Health Call Center, and school-based health centers for kids in economically challenged areas.

We improve lives. In big ways through learning, healing, and discovery. In small, personal ways through human connection. But in all ways, we improve lives.
