Joyful Birth's Abbie Gibitz supports women and their birth partners through the exciting journey of having a new baby! She is doula and childbirth educator in Louisville, KY. She is both a birth & postpartum doula and teaches Lamaze childbirth education classes in Louisville and Jeffersontown. Abbie is DONA-certified birth doula and a Lamaze-certified childbirth instructor. She is also pursuing certification with DONA as a postpartum doula. Devin earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bellarmine University in Louisville, and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing, specializing in midwifery.Devin is committed to delivering safe, evidencebased care tailored to each patient’s needs, whether she is offering guidance on birth control options or reviewing a birth plan for an upcoming delivery. She values shared decisionmaking and believes every patient deserves to feel seen, heard and supported through every aspect of their care.Devin is a Louisville native. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children, and the family’s two Aussiedoodle dogs. She is a proud “sports mom” often found on the sidelines cheering on her children at soccer, football and volleyball games. She also enjoys baking, do-it-yourself projects and relaxing nights at home.
