I am a birth and postpartum doula serving all types of families and birthing people in the Charlotte area. My path to this line of service was guided by a deeply held belief in intersectionality. As a Black, queer, childless woman I want to give others the encouragement to advocate for themselves and have the birthing and postpartum experience they dream of. My purpose is to assist pregnant women during pregnancy and postpartum with preparations for giving birth, comfort and support during delivery, and care at home. I am also a breastfeeding peer counselor, so I can assist with nursing needs. Once home I will help light housework, laundry, caring for baby while mom rests, etc.
