EKD Midwifery, PC (EKDM) is a midwifery practice led by Elaine Keller-Duemig, CNM, focusing on personalized, unique, and holistic gynecology and perimenopause care. Our practice emphasizes individualized care, allowing for thoughtful appointments tailored to each client's needs. We are excited to provide care for clients in various life stages and maintain a strong commitment to building lasting relationships within our community.
She graduated from Columbia Universitys Nurse-Midwifery program in 2003 and has spent 11 years caring for underserved communities in Manhattan and NJ. She most recently worked for 7 years in the Metropolitan Hospital Midwifery Service where she provided full-scope care to an amazing community and polished up her Spanish. Prior to becoming a midwife, Shannon studied molecular biology and biochemistry at Wesleyan University while focusing on gender studies.
