I am an RN with 30 years experience, Certified Death Doula & End of Life Consultant, Certified Greif Consultant & Certified Home Health Case Manager. I can provide services to anyone on the spectrum of life & death. From someone doing an advanced directive while still healthy, to someone who is actively in the transition from life to death. I can assist family with planning around death & dying, help identify needs that a dying person may require, act as an advocate for a dying person, help with grief counseling or recommending counseling services, assist with family dynamics around death & dying & provide education to both private clients & the general public. I am available to give in-services to employees of MD offices of any kind, community events, death cafes, community centers or religious organizations or private group education on the services provided by a Death Mid-Wife. I use the North Star Guide to identify the Emotional, Physical, Spiritual & Practical Dimensions surrounding death & dying. Helping to remove the stigma around the topic of death & normalize the conversations we have about death are very important goals to me. I believe that our personal Death comes into existence when we are born & that it accompanies us throughout our lifetime, as a companion. It is not something to be feared. And sometimes, we do meet our Death before we actually die & leave this plane of existence to go onward. I am also proud to be LGBTQ+ & to care for the entire human race.
