As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Maris provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Maris is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, Dr. Maris is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and hypertension. Dr. Maris received her training from the University of Houston College of Optometry and furthered her training at a large lasik center in Houston and the Veteran's Hospital in San Antonio, Tx.
Hook Eye Care caters the eyecare needs of its clients in Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, Fayetteville and all of Northwest Arkansas. It offers a full scope of optometric care and caters to all ages, offering complete exams, contact lens fitting, ocular disease care and designer eyewear, to name a few. The center offers routine eye and pediatric eye examinations, cataract evaluation and co-management, ocular disease treatment and evaluation, contact lenses, quality eyewear, refractive surgery evaluation and co-management.
