Dr Mellgren started this business 30 years ago and has hired associates with the same commitment to excellent care as she has dedicated her life to provide. Her associate, Dr. Chan is an excellent comprehensive ophthalmologist, specializing in laser and cataract surgery. She treats a wide variety of eye diseases, including diabetes, glaucoma and macular degeneration. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the San Diego County Medical Society.
