Eye Physicians & Surgeons of Augusta, PC Dr. Elizabeth Martin joined the Eye Guys in 2014 and specializes in comprehensive eye care. Dr. Martin has extensive experience in medical optometry with an emphasis on diabetic eye exams, dry eye, macular degeneration, glaucoma, post-surgical management, and emergency eye care. She received her bachelor's degree in biology at the University of San Diego in San Diego, California in 2002 and obtained an Optometry Doctorate at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 2006. Dr. Martin furthered her training by completing a residency in ocular disease and primary eye care at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Boston, MA in 2007.Dr. Martin has been practicing optometry since 2006. She passed Parts I, II, and III of board exams administered by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry in 2006 and is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
