Ilyas Memon, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist at Texas Digestive Disease Consultants in The Woodlands, Magnolia, Conroe and Willis, Texas. Taking a holistic approach to care, Dr. Memon focuses on his patients' overall health and well-being, while utilizing the latest in medical technology and treatments. Dr. Memon is an experienced gastroenterologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating liver disorders and digestive diseases such as colitis, Crohn's disease, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). He's also adept with endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and endoscopy. After earning his medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Memon remained in the city to serve as the house officer in medicine and general surgery at Civil Hospital Karachi. Dr. Memon then relocated to the United States to complete his internship in internal medicine at State University of New York (SUNY) Health Sciences Center in Syracuse, New York. He then completed his residency in internal medicine and neurology at Wayne State University-Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Memon went on to do his fellowship training in gastroenterology at Henry Ford Hospital (now Henry Ford Health System) in Detroit.
