Detroit Water Ice Factory, the brainchild of author Mitch Albom, features 20+ delicious flavors of D-ICE water ice scooped to perfection and served in iconic orange cups. Water ice is related to, but not exactly like Italian Ice. It contains no preservatives, the recipe calls for less sugar and more natural fruit and fruit base than other recipes, creating a dessert that is so smooth, creamy-tasting and delicious, it is hard to imagine it does not contain dairy products and is fat- and cholesterol-free (with some exceptions). We also serve the one-of-a-kind Motown Mash (made from a secret family recipe) and Brown Bag Popcorn, our handcrafted gourmet popcorn that is air popped from non-GMO corn and comes in 14 delicious flavors.
