In 1949, Jay Adolph and Henriette Olsen opened the original PICK-QUICK Drive In, offering grilled burgers, fresh fries, and creamy milkshakes to the Fife area. PICK-QUICK has remained in business for more than 65 years with a menu similar to the one that the Olsen's originally established in 1949, and that tradition is now available in the Seattle area.
This is a Seattle institution, and locals are defensive about it. It may not look like much more than a 1950s drive-in, but there is always a line. Hand-dipped milkshakes, fresh-cut French fries and a few hamburger variations are about the extent of the menu. A true Seattlite always, always comes back.
Delicious, scratch-baked cupcakes reminiscent of the home-baked treats we grew up with. We lovingly hand frost each one with real buttercream, and we use the best natural and local ingredients. Local milk and butter replace shortening and preservatives to keep our wholesome cakes light and fluffy.
