tripadvisorThe children's science museum was very disappointing. Many of the exhibits did not work. it was rundown. The planetarium was a video that was on the dome of the ceiling. It didn't even talk about the stars. The feeding of the parakeets was ok. The touch tank volunteer was the best thing and we were able to touch 4 things. I would NOT recommend this for a fun experience.
MoreWent on Father's Day, sort of late in the afternoon. Alot of shops were closed, not their fault it was a holiday. I think during a regular weekend, it may have been a better experience. It seemed just a tad bit sketch. BUT as mentioned, on a different weekend, it may pull a different vibe.
MoreI only came with my young kids for the free things (fish tanks on lower level and views from the top levels). My kids enjoyed the fish tanks and I enjoyed the views from the top, so if you’re looking for free activities to do to supplement a visit to the market, then it’s worth a stop.
MoreWe went to the Science Museum. It cost about $15 each and was a disappointment. Small children were having a blast, bit there is nothing for those of us over 10 years old. The aquariums in the Center lobby (free) were small but they had some interesting fish.
MoreInteresting idea, hasn't quite come together. With the caveat that the rooftop was closed (or the elevator was malfunctioning), the African American Cultural Center (which was closed) seemed like the most promising museum.
