Backcountry Pizza & Tap House Pizza ·$$

Backcountry Pizza and Taphouse, located just past the 29th Street Shopping Plaza on Arapahoe and Folsom, is hard to miss and definitely not worth missing. With it's gigantic blue/yellow exterior and equally colorful and welcoming interior, Backcountry is just the right mix of family-friendly and adult fun in one place. The pizza, of course, is excellent and the menu includes many specialty and build your own options. Additionally, the non-pizza menu is a solid, delicious bar with American food, and the drink menu is extensive, including many local brews. Backcountry Pizza and Taphouse is big, bold, and a wonderful place for anyone craving pizza and drinks.

Backcountry Pizza has been one of my default spots in Boulder for years, one of those places that's always good if pizza and great beer are in play. This was my first trip with kids in tow. Two...

It's been a while since I've had backcountry pizza so I'd figure I would give it another shot. Sadly this is the most mid pizza I've had. Worse than Cosmos, Abos and dare I say Blackjack even....
