I wasn’t quite sure what to do expect and was very pleasantly surprised by how extensive and diverse the collections are! Everything from circus carts to 9th century BCE sculpture! As a musician I was particularly interested in the Claude Jacquet harpsichord and the Webber Concert Grand Piano. The Ca d’Zan house is a real masterpiece of “Guilded Age” living. The gardens are beautiful and extensive! The Ringling is worth a visit if you are in the Sarasota area! Well worth the admission charge IMO

Didn’t have long enough to see everything and couldn’t with the heat anyway, but what we made it to was beautiful and entertaining. Everything has been said before except. There were golf carts waiting at the entrance to take you to any of the stops, and with a simple request, would come back and pick you up to take you to your next stop. So perfect on a day like our visit, with very high temps, and a member of our group who moves a little more slowly.
