The Boston University Castle is built in Tudor Revival style of architecture and is owned by the Boston University. The school uses it for concerts and other programs, and also rents it out to others for events and occasions. Originally built by a Boston businessman as his residence in the year 1915, it was sold to and owned by the university in 1939. The castle has an English-style basement pub serving drinks and sandwiches which is open only to faculty, staff, students, alumni and invitees. It was seen in the famous Hollywood movie 21 in the year 2007.

tripadvisorThe castle is one of the things that stands out in my mind from my years at Boston University. It is such a beautiful building. The story behind it adds to the charm of Boston and BU. If you are in Boston take the time to stop and visit this historic building!
MoreAfter our first day of class, our corporate Trust School threw the students a reception in this castle. The outside was gorgeous and the inside was a real treat. With so many historic places around Boston, this is certainly a must-stop (especially with so much good food in close proximity!) on the tour. It was a pleasure to explore it with a glass of wine. Definitely got me in the mood for a murder mystery or even just a good book!
MoreThis was a great place to visit. Great architecture. Just amazing the detail. A beautiful place for a wedding. The building ranks as one of Boston’s most picturesque structures and that it is!
