I would NOT recommend biking the river walk. It is a pedestrian walking trail. Hop on the oak leaf instead. There are stairs and it is enforced- don’t get a ticket!

This is much more of a walking trial than a bike trail, in fact there are many places with signs saying that bikes and skateboards are not allowed. This was probably nice a few years ago but has not aged well as a place for biking.

Quiet relaxing visit GREAT view nice to just get away for awhile. People are friendly. Stores etc close by

Well-marked, paved walk along the river in downtown Milwaukee. Wished there was more to do and see along the walk - there were a lot of office buildings. Would have been nice to have more shops and restaurants to serve as a destination. The Fonz statue was nice.

The entire Milwaukee River Bike Trail is open for mountain bikers, I was on the trails this weekend and saw many other mountain bikers and trail runners enjoying the trails as well, Have fun out there! The mountain bike trail loops from North ave to Hampton both on the east and west side of the river.
