Veteran's Park

Veterans Park is the perfect place for activities. From kite flying and paddle boats to jet skis and sailing over Lake Michigan, this park allows Milwaukee denizens to enjoy the great outdoors. On weekends, the park is particularly crowded and during concerts, festivals or any traffic with the adjacent Mckinley Marina, it is especially packed. Its proximity to the downtown area is ideal and visitors can easily access the park to quickly exchange the clamor of the city for the green tranquility on the lakefront.

Lake Park

This park was designed by the renowned American landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead and it is one of his three pearls in the 'Grand Necklace' of parks for the city of Milwaukee (the other two parks are Riverside and Washington). The park's location is perfectly positioned on the lake and some of the highlights include the North Point Lighthouse, the Lake Park Golf Course and their summer concert series for children.
