Was just out here on Saturday afternoon - donating hats and taking a short hike for the view. The visitor center is great and gives you a history lesson of the Native America people who lived in the area and the geology of the rock formations.

My wife and I went to Denver for our anniversary trip and went to Red Rocks, where a local resident recommend Roxborough. He mentioned that it looked similar to Garden of the Gods and Rock Mtn State Park without the crowd. They were CORRECT! This was definitely a highlight, because we got to hear about the history of the rock formations from.a geologist that was there. We were able to combine knowledge and a little fitness in the process. Would definitely recommend to any tourist looking to get away from the crowd.

This State Park has multiple hiking trails, staring with the trails off the road before the visitor's center that are more challenging and in the trees and rocks. Park up at the center and you have a choice of an easier access/challenge trail to the north or more single-file, more challenging hikes to the south. The rock formations are amazing with far fewer crowds and often wildlife in the area.

There are moderate hiking trails and truly easy paved trails for the very young and older guests. All are surrounded by the beauty of nature.

As Colorado goes, this hike is ok. Some easy trails, some moderate trails. There was one overlook view that bumps it up a notch in my book. Worth the visit!
