Sanford is a lovely, intimate restaurant located in Milwaukee's hip, East Side neighborhood. This upscale establishment, open since 1989, is proud to feature the cuisine of chef Sanford D'Amato. The dishes vary depending on the season, on any day of the week you may find French and American favorites to Mediterranean and North African ones, in other words, you will always find something you want on the menu. The highlight of the kitchen is the tasting menu, it is best accompanied with a wine pairing from the ample selection of varietals on the list. While the menu changes according to season, some of the courses that return every now-and-then include, the Seared Sea Scallop on Bacon Pea Mash with a Carrot Dumpling or a splendid of Lamb Rib Mole Taco with Tomatillo Salsa and Cocoa Chili Sauce.
