Extremely crowded with a lot of smoking and drunk idiots. I’ve been to several beaches along Lake Michigan and this has been the worst. Definitely won’t be coming back here.

I've always brought my kids here. Even now as teenagers, they love it. Very clean beach area. We love the waves and crisp water. I also grew up going to various places to swim in this lake. It's amazing & beautiful!

I’ve travelled all over and this was by far my favorite beach experience. Very friendly people. Everyone was respectful of each others space. Soft Sandy bottom. Clear water. All types of people, ages, sizes, and cultures blended together and had fun. The parking is free and easy and close. The tree back right up to the beach and give it a very natural and private feel. Very flat and accessible for those with mobility issues.

After days of an air advisory because of smoke from Canadian wildfires, it was lovely to sink my toes in the sand at this serene and extremely well-maintained beach. I wish we had better weather so we could have had several beach days!

was a great place to go and get naked until the cops kicked you out. this was back in the 60's and 70's. does anyone know if you can still get away with that?
