Located along the Brazos River, Cameron Park is a large city park. Home to numerous attractions, the park is the residents’ go-to point of interest in the city. Although now under the city’s park council, the park was originally owned by the Cameron family. At the park, children can play in the numerous on-site playgrounds, while adults can hike along any of the serene trails, go disc golfing at the course or simply take a stroll at the Lovers Leap. Additionally, the on-site Cameron Park Zoo is a major attraction among locals and tourists alike. When in Waco, one must reserve a day to explore the sprawling Cameron Park.

tripadvisorSuch a great place for outdoor activity. In my opinion it makes you feel like you are not even in Waco, let alone Texas. Lovely place to go for a drive. Beautiful scenery.
MoreBeautiful and well taken care of park. There are a lot of hiking trails and places to look at the river. Make sure and remember where you park because it is a little confusing.
MoreGreat park. Many picnic areas and trails. Way too many snakes though. Looking for a Challege, make sure you do Jacobs Ladder.
MoreThis park is awesome with so many things to see and areas to explore. The statues are very cool and the different scenic spots are equally as exciting in their own right. We spent hours here on multiple days to get the full experience. The people of Waco are lucky to have such a gem in their backyard!
MoreWe drove around this park but didn't get to walk on any trails. It's a beautiful park and we wish we had had more time to spend there. We did climb Jacob's Ladder! It was tough but we made it. Both in our 60's! Make sure to go here if you love the outdoors.
