Cameron Park

Located along the Brazos River, Cameron Park is a large city park. Home to numerous attractions, the park is the residents’ go-to point of interest in the city. Although now under the city’s park council, the park was originally owned by the Cameron family. At the park, children can play in the numerous on-site playgrounds, while adults can hike along any of the serene trails, go disc golfing at the course or simply take a stroll at the Lovers Leap. Additionally, the on-site Cameron Park Zoo is a major attraction among locals and tourists alike. When in Waco, one must reserve a day to explore the sprawling Cameron Park.

Indian Spring Park

Indian Springs Park is found in Waco's downtown region on the west end of the scenic Brazos river. The ancient Waco Suspension viaduct is found inside the park. Various events and festivals are hosted in the scenic park. 

Doris D Miller Park

Nestled along the banks of Brazos River, you can see the historic Waco Suspension Bridge from this park. Doris D Miller Park is named after an African American naval cook who is known for his bravery during the Pearl Harbor attack. You can idle away in this scenic park or watch your kids play on the playground.
