The Spruce Street Harbor Park is one of the best in the city and is located along the Delaware River. Evenly spaced trees throughout the park offer plenty of shade under which are lots of benches, colorful hammocks, charming fountains, and some delicate statues. The on site food trucks serve some delicious snacks and refreshing beer ensuring there's never a hungry moment. The floating gardens, live music shows, giant lego, chess, and Jenga, and colorful lights make this park extremely popular among the locals and a must visit.

tripadvisorVery nice park with many maritime attractions to visit, food vendors, beer garden and walking trails The city is busy adding new attractions to this waterfront Penn Landing to Spruce Street Park
MoreSpruce Street Harbor Park is an absolute gem along the Philly waterfront! We stopped by on a warm July afternoon and loved the laid-back vibe. The hammocks under the trees are a perfect place to relax, and there are so many fun games and food options to enjoy. The colorful lights make the whole area feel magical at night. Highly recommend for a chill summer hangout spot in Philly!
MoreOn a nice sunny day it’s a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and grab a deck chair and relax . Lots of cute photo opportunities if you are tourists ( like us ) and places to grab snacks and drinks
MoreThis area along the riverfront has hammocks, chairs, food vendors, historic ships and a small carnival. It’s a cool place to hang out and get something to eat after visiting the nearby attractions, or if you are staying in one of the adjacent hotels. It’s very relaxing to sit in a chair or hammock and watch the boats go by. The carnival is somewhat disappointing, with only a handful of rides and games and only two rides sized for adults; if you’re looking for amusements, I’d go elsewhere. I wouldn’t make a special trip just for this park, but it’s a great place to relax and unwind after a day visiting the waterfront attractions.
MoreWe recently stayed at the Hilton Penn’s Landing along the waterfront in Philadelphia. When we got back to our hotel, we happen to notice a lot of excitement in the adjacent park that is just footsteps to the hotel. And what a treat! What a fun family friendly location to hang out in the evening. Located near the old historic district, it’s a great place to go unwind, relax, and enjoy. There were so many fun family friendly activities to participate in. There is giant chess, giant checkers, giant Jenga, cornhole, large Legos, many hammocks for kids and families to play with. One other thing, it’s all free to enjoy. There are also restaurants, food vendors as well as multiple booths selling various items, products, etc. Located right along the riverfront, it’s also a great place to walk. Felt very safe with multiple security guards present. Lots of young families and kids of all ages.
