Those who love nature and exploring some woods will be thrilled with what Wissahickon Valley Park has to offer. With a plethora of trails, lakes, wooded paths and more, exploring this park on foot or on a bicycle is a visual spectacle. It is also a wonderful place for bird watchers and those well versed with the ornithological ecosystem of the park.
The Spruce Street Harbor Park is one of the best in the city and is located along the Delaware River. Evenly spaced trees throughout the park offer plenty of shade under which are lots of benches, colorful hammocks, charming fountains, and some delicate statues. The on site food trucks serve some delicious snacks and refreshing beer ensuring there's never a hungry moment. The floating gardens, live music shows, giant lego, chess, and Jenga, and colorful lights make this park extremely popular among the locals and a must visit.

Washington Square, originally known as Congo Square, is one of William Penn's original five city squares. In colonial times, Black men and women were brought to this area before they were sold into bondage and transported to their new homes. The square later served as a burial ground for both American and British Revolutionary War soldiers and ironically, white and Black victims of the 1793 yellow fever epidemic were also buried together here. These days it's the location of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Located in Center City Philadelphia, the Dilworth Park is a 120,557 square foot (11,200 square meter) area public park with lush a green lawn, trees and an interactive fountain which converts into a skating rink in the winter. Favorite among kids and adults alike, this park is the perfect place to seek time in solitude while enjoying being surrounded by greenery and listening to the sounds of excitement in the voices of the kids playing nearby. Scattered throughout the park are areas with works of art on display and laws that are designated picnic areas, while certain tree grove areas have selected tree species conducive to the city. The park also doubles up as a rental space for art festivals, weddings and exhibitions.
