Established in 2001 as Southeast Tucson's Premier Classical Dance Academy, Ballet Rincon (BR) is committed to the highest standard in professional dance training. BR dancers have been accepted in several nationally recognized University Dance Majors and professional Summer Ballet Intensives, including that of American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet, Ballet Austin, Brigham Young University, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Indiana University, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Joffrey Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, Long Beach Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, The Rock School, State Street Ballet, The University of Utah, and Washington Ballet. Ballet Rincon's mission is to share our love of dance with the largest possible audience in our community, and to train our students in the classical tradition of dance as a performing art. We seek to provide a complete and varied education for our dancers of all ages, offering the finest training in an encouraging and professional atmosphere.
